The University Event Management Office (UEMO) is a dynamic and professional subunit of the Directorate of Media and Public Relations (DOPR) at the University of Duhok (UOD). UEMO is the primary body responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and reviewing all official university events in alignment with institutional strategy, branding, and academic excellence.

Our Mission

To deliver high-quality, well-organised, and strategically aligned events that elevate the reputation of UOD locally, regionally, and globally, and foster meaningful engagement with academic and community stakeholders.

UEMO oversees all elements of event management for:

• Conferences and Symposia

• Academic Workshops and Training

• Graduation Ceremonies and Marquee Events

• Networking Functions and Public Lectures

• Dignitary Visits and Award Ceremonies

• Cultural and University Showcase Events

As architects of UOD’s event experience, we manage every phase of execution:

• Pre-event planning and proposal evaluation

• Internal and external stakeholder engagement

• Logistical coordination (venue, tech, catering, accessibility)

• Event promotion and visibility through DOPR

• On-the-day execution and stage management

• Post-event evaluation and reporting
